| Army organises tailoring, embroidery workshop | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 18: Under Unifrom Force, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion based at Gool had organized a tailoring and embroidery programme for the unemployed youths that concluded here today. The workshop was focused on skill development through vocational training for empowerment of youth and women especially.
The workshop curriculum included theoretic classes as well as hands on training on finer aspects of tailoring skills. Guidance was also provided for further financial assistance and any other possible help for them to begin their own venture.
Sarah Begum, resident of Tehsil Gool, as per the release issued by the unit was overwhelmed and expressed gratitude to the organizers for having provided an opportunity to her and other participants for being able to earn livelihood for themselves in the days to come. |
