National Integration Camp organized

Kathua, Mar 18 : With a motive to promote and strengthen the unity and integration in the country, the National Integration Camp organized by the National Youth Project in Andaman and Nicobar Islands which is represented by the senior most activist and youth coordinator of district Kathua from Jammu and Kashmir state. While interacting with media she said that Andaman and Nicobar islands are a group of islands at the juncture of the Bay of Bengal and Andaman area a union territory of India. The territory's capital is the Andamanese town of Port Blair.
The capital of Nicobar Islands is Car Nicobar also known as Malacca. In a press release, Updesh Andotra informed about the camp and she informed that the motive of the camp was connecting young people from different corners of the region, who work in social sector. She is only from Jammu and Kashmir along with other activists from almost 20 states of the country participated in the camp. And all the states have presented their respective cultural programmes like folk song, cultural display, songs and activities on discrimination of marginalize people, youth & drugs & HIV and Un-manifesto, a campaign to bring the voice of young people together in terms of politics, development, corruption, conflict and other social issues she added. She also stated that she is very much inspired by seeing the model of unity and brotherhoodness among the Hindus and Muslims who have been living with a great love, peace and prosperous atmosphere and dying for each others. And eager to implement such type of model of unity and integration between these two most controversial communities of Hindus and Muslims. Apart from the activities like debates, and cultural programmes, a giant exhibition of Photography for the promotion of Gandhi's ideology of non-violence and peace was also organized by a Gandhi Ashram of Maharashtra state.
