| Protest against PWD, Distt administration at Rathian | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Mar 18 : A deputation of agitated residents of Rathian of Udhampur area met social activist and Director Sky High India Social Organization Aman Kalsotra to highlight their grievances. Residents of Rathian said that administration and the government have become deaf and dumb towards problems being faced by them apart from the fact that they are also residents of this country and they deserve the share of development in their area they are continuously neglected till date. On the request of residents, Kalsotra also visited Rathian and took stock of the problems being faced by the residents. Speaking on the occasion residents of the area complained that Mahatma Gandhi Marg still awaiting government attention which touches the Delhi Public School and is in the heart of the city which is a important link road to the National Highway passing through Rathian and Phangyal. They said that estimate of this road is drawn by the department of PWD many time but the funds needed not sanctioned allotted to this road till date. They further said that due to this unconstructed road the locals especially children and women are facing lot of hardships. |
