| Youth join Congress party | | | Early Times report
Hiranagar, Mar 18: Subash Chander Gupta MLC and president District Congress Committee Kathua today welcomed the new entrants youth in the Congress fold in a simple and impressive function in the party office.
Addressing the newly joined youth, Gupta welcome them all and said that Youth is the future of our country. He added that as the country is preparing for the upcoming Lok Sabha election, and this time the youth will decides which party will come in power. Congress is the only party which can represents all strata of the society and under the able and dynamic leadership of Rahul Gandhi, Congress will again lead the country consecutively for the third time as UPA (III). Congress has the history of serving the people of our country selflessly since its formation in the year 1885.
Gupta assured that the Congress leadership is aware of the need and aspiration of the youth and future policies of the country will be charted keeping in view the interest of the youth. He also counts various achievement of the UPA Government in healthcare, food security, flagship programme MGNREGA, transparency in governance, security of women and children etc. |
