| PDP hails Azad’s remarks favouring party candidate | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Mar 18: PDP unit Poonch has welcomed the statement of Union Health Minister Gulam Nabi Azad in favour of their parliamentary election candidate Yashpal Sharma during his recent visit at Poonch.
During a press conference held at Poonch under the chairmanship of Advocate Lal Hussain Mushtaq the PDP leaders congratulated and thanked Azad for his truthful statement about Sharma.It is pertinent to mention here that Azad while addressing during his election campaign in favour of Congress candidate Madan Lal Sharma at Poonch, applauded Yashpal Sharma by saying that he is an honest, faithful, clean and transparent person.
PDP leaders said this is the fact about Sharma which is even admitted by his opponents and the real truth is that which is recognized by the opponents. While speaking during the press conference Sr. PDP leader Shah Muhammad Tantray was of the opinion that after the statement of an international repute politician like Azad in favour of PDP's candidate, the public of the state should accept the farsightedness and the deep political insight of Mufti Muhammad Saeed who has nominated Sharma as MP election candidate. He said that this is the high time for the public of Poonch and Rajouri to reply positively to Mufti Muhammad Saeed for this kindness. The party workers also appreciated the bold and courageous step of public of Poonch by leaving the meeting place in anger against Mr. Madan Lal Sharma when he stood to address the public meeting. The leaders also promised the public of Chandak town to get it announced by Party Superemo Mufti Muhammad Saeed during his proposed tour to Poonch on 30th March for tehsil status to Chandak if their party comes into power.
The leaders appealed the public to caste their votes in favour of Yashpal Sharma so that their genuine demands and problems could be highlighted in country's parliament. The others who were presented in the press conference includes Amar Singh Josh, Prof. Raghubir Singh, Distt. President PDP Youth Tanveer Dar, Krishan Lal Sharma, Ved Khajuria, Syed Tayyab Bukhari, M Abdullah, M Akbar Dar and Gulam Din. |
