| PCPG meet held at Latti | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Mar 25: Garib Dass, IPS Dy. Inspector General of Police, Udhampur-Reasi Range held Police Community Partnership Group Meeting (PCPG) at Latti in District Udhampur which was attended by 40-50 respectable citizens of the area. While speaking on the occasion DIG explained the objective of the meeting and also appreciated the people for sparing their valuable time to attend the meeting. DIG Udhampur Reasi Range emphasized upon the participants to extend their cooperation to police in maintaining law and order, peace and communal harmony in the area. They were further explained to remain extra vigilant in their area against movement of any anti national element or anti social elements who are bent upon to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the society especially during the prevailing election days.The participants raised various issues pertaining to their area and requested for their redressal. They were assured that their genuine demands/problems will be brought into the notice of concerned authorities for early redressal. The participants lauded the role of police in organizing PCPG meetings initiative to conduct various activities/events under Civic Action Programme in the area. They also requested for organizing similar meetings in the area in future also. Among the present were P.R Shan, SDPO Chenani and SI Ghan Shyam,SHO P/S Latti. |
