| Clash of titans in Jammu region on March 26 | | Azad, Modi to address rallies | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 24: It is going to be clash of titans on March 26 when heavy weights of Indian politics, Narendra Modi and Ghulam Nabi Azad will address two different rallies in Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha constituency. Azad is scheduled to address a rally in Udhampur on Wednesday as Modi will seek support for the BJP candidate at Hira Nagar town of Kathua district. Both Modi and Azad have strong followers in Jammu region and it will thing to watch as where people will turn on Wednesday. Though Azad will be addressing a rally in Kathua tomorrow after he files his nomination but his March 26 rally has assumed significance as Modi is expected to show his strength as well. On December 1, last year, NaMo managed to attract thousands of people of Jammu region when he addressed a rally in Maulana Azad stadium in Jammu. Almost four months later, he is going to address another rally, this time for his party candidate, Dr. Jatindra Singh and eyes would be on BJP as how many people they will be able to gather for Modi. It is a fact that Azad's candidature looks like winning combination for Congress party but BJP on the other hand is trying to get the maximum from Modi. BJP is of the opinion that Modi wave could have strong impact on electorates in Jammu as well but they are not sure about the outcome. Congress on the other hand is putting every effort to take their sinking ship to the shore. Although Congress faces stiff opposition in the state the electorate has limited choice. Modi wave may help BJP but fielding weak candidates in Jammu may wash off the Modi magic |
