| Could Modi's rally change BJP's fortunes in Udhampur-Doda contest? | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 25: With Ghulam Nabi Azad's nomination as Congress-NC coalition candidate from udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha segment changing the electoral equations fundamentally, all eyes shall be on Modi's rally in Hiranagar on Wednesday. The BJP PM nomine and Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi shall address a rally in Hiranagar which is being anticipated to give shot in the arm for BJP candidate Jatindra Singh. Modi on December 1, last year had managed to attract around one lakh people in his rally and it was seen as a major success ahead of Lok Sabha elections in Jammu and Kashmir which has never remained fortress of BJP. Narendra Modi addressing a rally in Hiranagar is also being seen as a befitting reply to terrorists and their handlers sitting on the other side of the border in Pakistan and those people who support these armed men in the state and country. Modi has been vocal against Pakistan and its nefarious design against India and has cursed the UPA government for not doing enough to tackle Pakistan and terrorist elements in the state. From Hiranagar, Modi is expected to attack Pakistan as well as his political rivals Congress party. Though his rally may not ensure win for BJP candidate on this Lok Sabha seat but it is surely aimed at sending clear signal to rivals, both at political and security front. |
