| 15 day 'Sports Camp' organized at Carmel Convent | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 2: Carmel Convent High School Kunjwani organized a fifteen day long sports camp with an aim to enhance sportsmanship, teamwork and physical fitness among the students of school. A large number of students participated in this sports day camp and various events held as part of activity. Principa1 Sr Maria Suzette and Physical Education Training (PeT) Teachers namely Dheeraj and Ms Naina actively supported the camp and also arranged coaches from Nagaland, Chennai, Jammu and Ludhiana to train our students in various games. According to the school spokesperson, during this camp students were not only exposed to the adventure and fun of games but also were imparted with the qualities like sportsmanship and team work. They were also acquainted with that they (sportspersons) need to be gracious to accept both faces of games be it victory as well as defeat. The students demonstrated various games events infront of a gathering comprising parents and faculty members which applauded the players with loud cheers. The parents of students have acknowledged the initiatives of school management for endevouring to explore latent talent of the students. |
