Rajouri, Apr 2: District Administration Rajouri has completed its preparedness for smooth and peaceful conduct of Lok Sabha polling which is to be held on Apr 10 in the district.
Rajouri district, comprising four Assembly constituencies namely 81-Kalakot,82-Darhal,83-Rajouri and 84-Kalakot , is a part of Jammu-Poonch Parliament constituency and having 3,64018 valid votes included 1,93,154 ,male and 1,70,864 female voters.
"District administration including police have completed the required arrangements for the smooth peaceful conduct of polling. Till date we have not received any threat to disturb the polling by the anti national elements (ANEs) and the required companies of Central Para Military Forces (CPMFs) will soon be available " said Hemant Kumar , Deputy Commissioner reach the "Rajouri district has 4501 service voters including 562 female and the ballot papers have been dispatched to their respective destinations" said Nodal officer, postal ballot papers. The whole district has been divided into 16 zones and 61 sectors where zonal and sector Magistrates have been deployed to implement the guidelines of Election Commissioner of India. 499 polling stations have been set up at 420 locations out of which 49 polling stations at 42 locations have been declared hyper sensitive while 131 polling stations at 112 locations fall under sensitive category. |
