| Generous UPA Govt funding helped J & K: Saroori | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Apr 14 : Senior Congress leader and MLA Inderwal,Ghulam Mohammad Saroori today said that generous funding from the UPA government helps the J & K state to achieve its developmental goal and cautioned the people against divisive forces and impressed upon the people to vehemently reject the hate politics and nurture mutual brotherhood, amity and togetherness for which Congress have always strived. Saroori said restoration of peace, construction of thousands of bridges, roads, schools, colleges, universities and other developmental schemes besides enactment of historic legislations to empower people and ensure transparency in all fields of administration by the State Coalition Government has been made possible only with the financial and logistic support by the Congress-led UPA Government to the state. Elaborating the achievements of Ghulam Nabi Azad said that the decision of opening of five new Medical Colleges in the State is the greatest contribution of Azad. Saroori said that the people of State should not forget the creation of new districts including Kishtwar, while Azad was the Chief Minister of the State.Urging people to vote for Azad, he said that former Chief Minister and Union Health Minister is a visionary statesman, a politician and a social activist who ensured that people get justice delivered at their door steps. "He (Azad) deserves our votes being the best of all and man with a mission and vision," Saroori stressed. |
