| Even before declaration of results, local BJP leaders become arrogant | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 14: Riding on the "Modi Wave" BJP leadership in Jammu and Kashmir is blatantly indulged into looting funds sanctioned by the high command for the campaigning in Lok Sabha elections. Not only BJP leaders are indulged into looting party funds, they are also becoming arrogant and some of them behaving like ministers in the Union Government. The over-confident BJP leaders are thinking that they are going to win both the Lok Sabha seats of Jammu province so there is no need to establish contact with the people. In BJP office a senior party leader was saying that people of Jammu region have no option but to vote BJP candidate for Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat. The arrogant BJP leader said that neither Ghulam Nabi Azad nor any other leader can save Congress from facing debacle in the State. Although polling of Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat is yet to be held and counting of votes would be held on May 16, local BJP leaders have started behaving like rulers. They have stopped picking phones of the reporters. One of the BJP leader deals with media, who is famous for wearing colourful shirts and changing his profile pictures on face book after every hour, has reportedly told a reporter that he would directly talk with his editor and warned the "petty" reporter against calling him in future. Credible sources said that party high command has given huge funds to the party for both the Lok Sabha seats but huge chunk of the fund has been siphoned off by the party leaders from top to bottom. Some leaders, who are hoping to contest coming Assembly election, have dumped election material in their houses. Furthermore some leaders have earned huge money in the name of transport during campaign for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat. |
