| Burglars decamp with electronic items worth Rs 4 lakh | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 14: Some unidentified burglars broke into an electronics shop in New Plot locality and decamped with electrical items worth Rs 4.00 lakh besides some cash while another futile attempt was made by the thieves in another electronics showroom at New Plot. Police sources said that the burglars broke into electronics showroom M/s Dee Kay Electronics at New Plot with the help of a jack and escaped electronic goods including 10 big LEDs Screens and five small LEDs, one AC and Rs 20,000 cash. Police sources said, "Owner of M/s Dee Kay Electronics, Dalip Kumar reported the matter to police this morning and police along with Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) experts reached the spot and collected circumstantial evidences. Pertinently, in a similar bid thieves made a futile attempt of burglary in another shop at New Plot opposite Citizen Cooperative Bank. "The burglars though have broke open six locks of M/s Khajuria Traders Electronic Showroom but they failed to execute burglary in the shop as some locals got alarmed over noise of breaking of locks and rushed towards spot forcing burglars to fee from spot," police sources said. Concerned police have registered cases in respective regard but no arrest was made when last reports came in. |
