Jammu, Apr 14: Continuing its drive against anti social elements like gamblers and bootleggers, the Police today arrested four gamblers and recovered Rs 2880/- as stake money from their possession at Draupadi Mandir in RS Pura. "The accused have been identified namely as Ravi Kumar of Kothey Jagiyan, Dinesh Kumar of R.S Pura, Gudeep Kumar of Ward No. 10 RS Pura and Surjeet Kumar of Drastey RS Pura," Police spokesperson said. Police spokesman added that acting on specific information about gambling, police team raided Draupadi Mandir in a isolated location and arrested four gamblers besides recovering Rs 2880 as stake money and playing cards from the spot.
"All these accused were booked under 13 Gambling Act. Police produced them in the court of law, he added.
