Kathua, Apr 14 : Senior Congress leader and sitting Member Parliament Jammu Poonch Constituency, Madan Lal Sharma today conducted an extensive tour of the border belts of District Kathua and sought vote and support for the coalition candidate from Udhampur- Doda- Kathua Parliamentary seat Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad. Seeking vote for coalition candidate, Azad, Madan Lal Sharma said, "Ghulam Nabi Azad is the suitable candidate to represent the above mentioned Lok Sabha seat. Senior Congress leader accompanied with Shabir Ahmed Khan, MLA & Former Minister, S Manjit Singh Senior Congress leader & Ex Minister & Kuldeep Raj Verma Vice Chairman OBC, Madan Lal highlighted the achievements of UPA Government particularly to that of Ghulam Nabi Azad for Jammu & Kashmir in general and Kathua-Udhampur & Doda in particular. The election campaign started from Rajpura Camp, Mukhandpur, Salalpur, Haria Chak and adjoining areas, during which Sharma said that the two medical colleges in one Parliamentary Constituency was made possible only due to the committed and sincere interests of Azad. Terming Azad as a secular leader, Sharma made the people realize that he is the only suitable candidate to represent this Parliamentary Constituency in a proper manner. Calling upon the people to vote for Azad's Candidature, he exhorted people to strengthen hands of Congress by pressing hand button on EVMs on April 17. |
