Jammu, Apr 23: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) activists today staged a protest against non supply of government/subsidized ration and demanded CBI probe into the assets of the CA&PD officials.
Addressing the protestors, Sunil Dimple president JWAM said there is list of 150 corrupt Officers of the CA&PD who had accumulated huge wealth by black marketing of CA&PD ration meant for the BPL and APL families. Alleging that all corrupt officials have the shelter of the coalition regime, Dimple demanded the CBI inquiry of the assets of these CA&PD officers and immediate action against them under law of land.
Dimple also alleged that the present regime has done nothing except narrating the fairy tales for the last six years that fair prices shops will be opened but reality was completely different.
Dimple also welcomed the decision of Division Bench High Court to the CA&PD Ministry wherein it has asked the Com/Secy to submit the property details of the CA&PD department officers. He also demanded that the state government should implement the Food Security Bill in the state for the cause of poor people.
Vinod Suri, Sham Saroop Gupta, Kulwant Sharma, Harbans Todon, Dharmvier Singh, Kasturi Lal, Mulkh Raj, Vipan, Veen Devi, Sunita Devi, Renu Bala, Sushma Devi and many others participated in this protest. |
