Jammu, Apr 23: Fourteen candidates, having qualification ranging from 8th standard to Post Graduate, are in fray for phase 4th of Lok Sabha elections in Srinagar. However, as per data, prepared on the base of self sworn affidavits of all the 14 candidates, provided by Association For Democratic Reforms and Jammu and Kashmir Election Watch reveals that six candidates out of 14 have been analyzed as Crorepatis, while as one is facing serious criminal charges. Further, six candidates out of 14 have declared their liabilities worth lakhs. Among Crorepati candidates JKPDP candidate has been declared as the richest. Going by the financial data of the candidates, the candidate namely Tariq Ahmed Karra (JKPDP) has declared the assets of more than 98 Crore. The NC candidate namely Farooq Abdullah falls in the serial number two of the Crorepati candidates. He has assets of more than 13 Crore, while as Mohd Shafi Guroo (IND) has assets of more than Rs 3 Crore. Six candidates have declared their liabilities worth lakhs. They included Rabia Altaf (IND) who has more than Rs 26.25 as liabilities. Tareeq Ahmed Karra (JKPDP) has liabilities of more than Rs 15 lakh and Mohd Maqbool Malik (JKNPP) has declared his liabilities of more than Rs 6 lakh. A total of 4 candidates have declared assets less then Rs 2 lakh. They included Mohammad Maqbool Malik (JKNPP) who has declared Rs20 thousand as his total assets, Rs 30 thousand plus assets have been declared byrIYAZ Ahmed Wani , an Independent Candidate and Miraz Sajad Hussain Beigh (IND) has declared his assets having face value of Rs 60 thousand. |
