Early Times Report Srinagar, Apr 23: Army on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a Hizbul-Mujahideen militant from Baramulla district in North Kashmir. Army's Srinagar based defence spokesperson in a statement said that during a joint operation launched on a specific intelligence by Army and police at Momus area last evening, a militant Bilal Ahmad Bhat was arrested. "During the raid the joint team of party apprehended a militant of HM outfit," he said, adding that one AK- 47 rifle, one magazine and 20 rounds ammunition was recovered from his possession. Bhat, is a resident of Bhatpora village in Kunzar, army said. Meanwhile, police have registered a case and started further investigations in this regard. |
