Jammu, Apr 23: A Jagran of Mata Chandi was organised by Anil Kumar Sharma, head of Chandi Mata Padder Machail Wali Kirtan Mandali, today at Kachi Chhawni, Jammu during which singers recited devotional songs dedicated to Mata Machail Wali.
The special invitee on this occasion Kr Rajeev Charak; President Bahu fort Development Committee, Jammu said that it is a good effort to organise such religious functions and programmes to make the new generation know about their religion. He exhorted the parents to inculcate moral and religious values to their children. He also underlined that performing of religious rituals at homes make peaceful environment in one's home.
Sudhir Singh Jamwal, Nikhil Mangotra, Munish Singh Jamwal, Surinder Kumar and Vinod Shavotra also spoke on the occasion. |
