| Jammu, Apr 23: Municipal Veterinary Officer along with field staff conducted inspection on meat shops in the city areas and seized 15kg of sub-standard meat and realized Rs 4300 as fine. The drive was carried out on the direction of commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation Kiran Wattal at New Plot, Roop Nagar, Janipur, Muthi, Chinore, B.C Road etc. Officials of JMC said that the drive will remain continue in near future and JMC once again appealed to all the meat shopkeepers to keep their premises neat and clean failing which action under law shall be initiated against them. |
