Jammu, Apr 23 (JNF): In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by one Attar Singh regarding industrial units being set-up exclusively a residential area, Division Bench of State High Court today directed IGP Jammu to file status report within a week, failing which he shall remain present in person.
When the hearing was taken up, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice MM Kumar and Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar observed that the earlier order has not been complied with as no status report has been filed and directed IGP Jammu to file status report within a week, failing which he shall remain present in person. Today no one appear for the petitioner as well as respondents in this PIL.
