Srinagar, Apr 23: Asserting that members of Parliament who were elected from Srinagar Budgam parliamentary constituency from the last many decades have failed to raise issues pertaining to Budgam Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and candidate for Srinagar Lok Sabha segment Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat has said today said right from late Paray Lal Handoo to present Dr Farooq Abdullah hardly spoke about issues pertaining to Budgam.
While addressing various public gatherings in Chararisharief , Chadoora and Khansahib assembly segments in central Kashmir's Budgam district, AAP leader Dr Muzaffar said that Members of Parliament right from Paray Lal Handoo to Dr Farooq Abdullah hardly spoke about issues pertaining to Budgam .
"It is people of this district ie Budgam who helped the heavy weights of National Conference to win the parliament elections right from 50's till 2009 but these leaders have utterly failed to raise issues of this backward district and even the MPLAD funds were not utilized for development works in our district, he added. Dr Muzaffar Raza also conducted door to door campaign and public meetings at Shalnad, Gohidraggan , Narigund , Awanpora , Kralpora, Kutabal , Gogee Pathree , Buzgoo , Lolipora, Watkaloo and its adjoining villages in Khansahib , Chadoora and Chararisharief areas on Wednesday . |
