Absconding brothers held after 29 yrs in Surankote 5/15/2014 11:07:00 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 15 : Police today arrested two brothers who were evading their arrest for their alleged involvement in different criminal cases from last 29 years in Surankote of Poonch district. Police identified the duo namely as Mohammad Rashid and Mohammad Sahrief both residents of Dharaba Surankote. "Acting on specific information about their movement in the area, a police party led by SHO Surankote M A Mirza and SI Chetan Kumar under the supervision of SDPO Surankote, DySP Ajay Sharma conducted raids at their hide out and arrested the duo," the police sources said here today. Police sources said that Mohammad Sharief was wanted in case Fir no 228/1987 u/s 457 and 380 of RPC and FIR no. 107/1985 u/s 435 of RPC registered at different police stations while Mohammad Rashid was wanted FIR no. 107/1985 u/s 435 of RPC.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
