| Government schools in Mendhar sector afflicted by multiple ills | | | M S Nazki
MENDHAR, May 15: Abdul Hamid Fani Chief Education Officer Poonch along with Dy CEO, in-charge ZEO Harni, ZEPO Mendhar and Headmaster HS Chungan Maisian paid surprise visit to the educational institutions in Mendhar Sector.
At PS Chhani Zone Mendhar the roll of the school was found very thin. At GPS Sakhimaidan Zone Mankote two teachers namely Zavid Akhter and Azmat Begum were found unauthorized absent. MS Jugal was functioning normally but the Headmaster of the School was not present. His leave was not entered by the in-charge of the day as per telephonic directions for which ZEO Mendhar is directed to charge sheet the master for not applying the leave in ZEO Office in advance.
At PS Chotey Shah Zone Mankote it is brought into the notice the school is shifted some where 700 meters away from the original location without permission of the authority. At PS Kothi Chajjla Mankote Zone the teacher namely Zarina Begum was found authorized absent and was marked on leave by the in-charge of the day without any leave application. Only six students were found present out of 22.
AT PS Mohalla Jattan Zone Mankote two teachers namely Mohd Razaq RET and Basharat Hussain RET were found attached and both were detached on spot. At PS Dupri Chajala zone Mankote only 14 students were present out of 24. At PS Maisan Haillan zone Mankote one teacher namely Nusrat Begum found un authorized absent for the last three days and was marked on leave by the in charge of the day but no leave application was available.
At MS Nar Chajjala zone Mankote one Yasmeen Akhter RET found un authorized absent since long and was marked on leave whereas no leave stand sanctioned in her favour and one teacher namely Mr. Mustafa Ahmed newly engaged RET is also found absent since long and whose where about is not known. He was also marked on leave by the incharge of the school.
At GPS Bareeni Dharana Zone Mendhar one teacher namely Shanaz Akhter was found unauthorized absent from duty but was marked on leave by the 2nd teacher without leave application. At GMS Mohalla Jogian one teacher namely Azra Khatoon was marked on leave by headmaster of the school and stated that the leave has been submitted to ZEO Office Mendhar. Azra left the school on May 1 without sanction of medical leave from the DDO concerned.
At GPS Dhaki Behra it was found that the teacher namely Talat Sarwar Khan was found unauthorized absent. At GMS Mendhar Sawada Begum Resource teacher CWSN was marked frequently on duty. At GPS Dachhal one Shazad Akhter teacher marked on duty. But on verification it has been found that she has not attended the meeting at SDH Mendhar. Mohammad Arif Khan deployed in MS Bhera was also detached.
At GMS Mohalla Khokran most of the staff was marked on leave. Abida Khatoon attached from MS Kotan was detached. At MS Chungan Gursian Zone Mendhar Farooq Azam and Zahid Hussain were found unauthorized absent from duty and at MS Charoon one teacher namely Manzoor Ahmed was also found unauthorized absent.
At MS Upper Kandi zone harni two teachers namely Zain Akhter and Mohammad Shafiq were found absent. At PS Therian Kandi, the school was found locked at 12.30 PM. Both the teachers namely Shabina Taranam and Tehseer Khan found absent from their duties.
At MPS Manda Kandi Galhuta the school was found locked at 1.30 PM and the teachers namely Dilshaq Begum and Rifat Naaz Kouser were absent from duties. Instructions were passed to concerned ZEOs to deduct the salary of erring officials for the days they remained absent from their duties. |
