| DC assures inquiry against erring teachers, Edu officials | | Educational institutions in Poonch sans libraries | | M S Nazki
Mendhar, May 15 : Majority of the educational institutions, Higher Secondary, High Schools or Middle Schools alike are working witout libraries in Poonch town owing to which students community is largely frustrated about their career but concerned teaching community, it seems, is in deep slumber as no one has bothered to avoid the same. As per sources, there are 24 Higher Secondary Schools in the town, 69 High Schools and 400 Middle Schools but in majority of the schools either the libraries san books or the librarians have packed the books in sacs. Numbers of posts of librarians were filled in the town under different central flagship schemes but locals as well as student fraternity usually claims that the librarians attend these schools once in a weak. This scribe roamed across some of the schools in the town especially Government Higher Secondary School Dhar Gloom, Government High School Nar in Zone Balakote and several Middle schools and found neither librarian nor books.
DDC Poonch Sajjad Ahmad Khan assured inquiry against the erring teachers as well as concerned Education officials. |
