| One killed, 3 injured in road mishap | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 15: One person was killed while three others sustained injuries in a head on collision between two vehicles at Rattan Bas (Banihal) of district Ramban this afternoon.
"The deceased has been identified as Pawan Kumar (50 years) s/o D N Katha of Shiv Nagar Jammu, police sources said.
According to reports, one Zen Car bearing Regd No: JK02AR-9704 on its way from Sringar to Jammu had a head on collision with Tata Sumo bearing regd No: JK14-7843 about 1315 hrs, at Rattan Bas (Banihal). The accident resulted into death of driver of the Zen Car on spot while two other occupants of Zen Car and one person of Tata Sumo suffered injuries.
The injured have been identified namely as Rajinder pPaul s/o Mahraj Krishan of Subash Nagar Jammu , Avtar Krishan s/o Ram Chand of Shiv Nagar Jammu and Mohd Ali s/o Ab.Aziz of Khari Lubladha.The Police team from concerned police station immediately reached to the spot and evacuated the injured to nearby hospital where they are being hospitalized. |
