| Five outsiders booked for managing fraudulent PRCs, amassing property | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 21: Bari Brahmana police claimed to have booked five Punjab based persons who have raised property worth lakhs after managing Permanent Registration Certificates (PRCs) fraudulently, allegedly in connivance with some revenue officials. According to spokesperson, the Police booked five persons after an inquiry report was submitted by Deputy Commissioner Jammu to IGP Crime Branch Jammu. "DC Jammu in its letter vide ADC/ADM/PS/13-14/543 revealed that five persons namely Rajesh Kumar ,Bharat Bushan and Pawan Kumar, all sons of Dwarka Nath, Ekta Gupta wife of Bharat Bushan and Shubam Gupta son of Bharat Bushan, all residents of Tehsil Arnia Bishnah at present Bari Brahmana Jammu have been issued PRCs fraudulently, spokesperson said further adding, "the connivance of some revenue officials can't be ruled out. Spokesperson stated that IGP Crime Branch then referred the case to DIG Jammu Kathua range for registration of the FIR against alleged accused persons and accordingly FIR No 67/014 u/s 420,467,468,474 RPC was registered against the accused persons in Police Station Bari Brahmana. Pertinent to mention a complainant namely Sham Lal has lodged complaint with Crime Branch Jammu alleging one Bharat Bushan alias Bushan,Pawan Kumar alias Happy, Rajesh Kumar alias Vicky all sons of Dwarka Natha, Ekta Gupta and Shubam Gupta residents of Mohalla Kapon Gate- Batala,Punjab have managed PRCs fraudulently and managed to purchase property worth crores. After receiving complaint, IGP Crime Branch took initiative and got the inquiry done by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Jammu. |
