| DC Kathua conducts surprise visit to three flour mills | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, May 21: Deputy Commissioner of Kathua, Jatinder Singh today conducted a surprise visit to three flour mills situated at Kathua here today and took stock of the quality and quantity of the packaging of the final product at these units. Reports from Kathua said, "Deputy Commissioner Kathua conducted surprise visits at Varun Flour Mill, Rattan Flour Mill and Saraswati Flour Mill following complaints of flour adulteration in Public Distribution System (PDS) lodged by a local resident of Kathua. "During his visit the DC Kathua found no substandard material meant to adulterate the wheat flour, said reports adding, "DC Kathua underlined that more constructive steps shall be taken for making the PDS fair and accessible for the common consumers.
Here it needs to mention that complainant alleging unholy nexus between millers and black moles in CA&PD Department is making people to suffer as CA&PD flour fails in both quantity and quality wise. A high level enquiry was also sought in this regard by the complainant. |
