Jammu, May 21: Alleging total collapse of the administration machinery in the state of J&K, Harsh Dev Singh National Panther Party (NPP) Chairman and MLA Ramnagar today accused the present dispensation of setting the most dubious record of mis-governance, non performance, corruption, lack of accountability and a highly fractured work culture in the state.
He said that the ruling alliance had utterly failed to live up to the expectations of the common man and was thriving purely on deceptive slogans and false promises.
He said that though the resentment was brewing against the present govt. in all three regions of the state but Jammu region in particular had suffered intensively during the last five and a half year coalition rule in all spheres.
Lashing out at the congress-NC govt. for what he described as persistent neglect and deprivation of Jammu region, Harsh Dev Singh claimed that NPP alone could salvage Jammu Pradesh and ensure restoration of its lost glory and pride. Urging upon the general masses to unite and strengthen the National Panthers Party, he said it alone could end the policies of bias and prejudice in various fields being pursued against the Dogra land by successive state govt. He strongly flayed the BJP and Congress for creating a communal divide during the just concluded Parliamentary elections with the sole objective of promoting their political prospects. He urged upon the people to remain vigilant against nefarious designs of divisive and communal forces. He was addressing a mammoth public gathering today at Ramnagar organized by local unit of Ramnagar Panthers Party.
Speaking on the occasion Harsh Dev Singh re-iterated the resolve of the Party to strive for equitable treatment to all regions of the State with removal of all regional imbalances, ensuring due share to Jammu and Ladakh regions.
He said that Jammu Pradesh needed to be compensated in terms of Development projects, funds allocation, employment, Road connectivity, tourism, Health and Power Sector. Castigating the Jammu based Ministers for playing s second fiddle to Kashmir Leadership, he said that they had bartered away the interests of Jammu region for petty political gains.
He said it was NPP alone which had proved its mettle in the just concluded session of Assembly and raked up all possible issues confronting the common man and exposed the govt. for its lapses, omissions, commissions as well as its prejudicial mind set.
