Jammu, May 24: A 55 year-old female committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at her residence in Vijaypur.
"The deceased has been identified as Kanta Devi wife of Jagdish Raj of Vijaypur, the police sources said.
Police sources said that she fell unconscious and her family members immediately shifted to nearby Hospital and after preliminary treatment doctors referred her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) where she was declared as brought dead. Police have registered a case and started investigation in this regard. |
