Abdullahs work overnight but after losing ground

Srinagar, May 24: After accepting defeat Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah lifted restrictions on SMS on pre-paid cell phones.
With an intention to regain public sympathy Chief Minister hours before scrapping job policy On May 22 announced that he has received hundreds of emails from people particularly youth to scrape job policy and finally did in the cabinet meeting.
In the same cabinet meeting besides promotions to officials of various department, cabinet approved sanction to the establishment of seven new B-Ed Colleges across Kashmir.
On 22 May the Jammu and Kashmir government announced to set up eight electric workshops across the state to ensure quick repairing of faulty electricity transformers whenever needed and decision came from Minister for Power Vikar Rasool.
Just before parliamentary election when people had to wait for months to meet Chief Minister, however things have drastically changed now as according to the reports it was on May 23 when both Omar Abdullah and Farooq Abdullah met as many as 60 deputations across the State.
One senior NC worker from North Kashmir's Baramullah District who met Chief Minister said that he saw and met deputations from Srinagar, Baramulla, Sopore, Kupwara, Budgam, Islamabad, Bijbehara, Pulwama, Pampore, Banihal, Ramban, Poonch, Surankote, Shopian, Gandderbal, Rajouri who had met Abdullah's besides scores were waiting for their turn outside their residence.
According to reports among the deputations included youth from Srinagar, traders, fruit growers, tourism players, retired NC influential employees, Bureaucrats, associations of contractual Employee, besides dozens of political activists and former office bearers some of whom are though now associated with other political parties met both Abdullah's and while discussing political matters are seeking favours for duo.
On May 23 also government announced to that the process for setting up of five new Medical Colleges in the State has been formally approved by concerned authorities and in this regard issuance of notification by the Health & Medical Education Department of the J&K government Friday has also been set up.
The places where these Medical Colleges are expected to be set up include areas where NC had to face drought in terms of votes which Anantnag and Baramulla in Kashmir province, Doda, Kathua and Rajouri in Jammu province.
Besides all such formal announcements and meetings with people of different walks of life so far, according to sources government is also about to announce extension in retirement age up to 60 years and extension in over age mark for unemployed and educated youth up to 39 years and within coming days there will be announcements of jobs in education and rural development department, besides developmental works in model villages and inauguration of under construction Hospitals, Mini secretariats' in some District is on priority of state government also to regain lost power.
