| 30 years on, no amendment in PDD recruitment rules: JKEEU | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 24 : A meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir Electrical Employees Union (JKEEU) was convened by its President Mir Abdul Salam Rajpuri here in Jammu today wherein demands of PDD employees were discussed threadbare.
Employees Union today alleged that PDD employees in Jammu and Kashmir are being deprived of promotional benefits because the recruitment rules in the state are not amended for the last over 30 years. General Secretary, JKEEU, Manzoor Ahmed Bhat said that employees of PDD are suffering for their promotion prospects for decades due to the reason that the department recruitment viz SRO-381 of 1981 have not been for more than last 30 years. He added that these departmental recruitment rules of 1981 have been become uneffective as being stand still."On other side there has been considerable incumbency in the department by way of direct recruitment from 1988 onwards on the post which do not even exit in the SRO-381 of 1981 viz departmental recruitment rules neither these designation viz tech-III category posts created vide government order no.129 of 1997 have been incorporated in these departmental recruitment so far" he said. State president, JKEEU, Mir Abdul Salam Rajpuri urged upon government to fulfill all the demands of employees including enhancement of retirement age, Health insurance for employees and pension |
