| Obscene MMS scam: Bail denied to accused | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 26 : Principal Sessions Judge Kathua Vinod Chatterji Koul today rejected the bail application of one Narinder Kumar S/O Chandu Ram alias Chander Ram R/O Gurha Kalyal, Tehsil Billawar, District Kathua who was arrested by the Police in making porn MMS of a teacher.
According to the police case,a complaint was filed in writing by the complainant before the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Billawar. In the complaint, it was alleged that she is working in a private school. The petitioner has prepared her naked film and placed the same in Internet and has also sent the porn film in the mobiles of users. The film has been prepared by the petitioner with intention to blackmail her and also to defame her. This act of the petitioner could force her to commit suicide. Principal Sessions Judge Kathua Vinod Chatterji Koul after hearing Public Prosecutor Ravi Kumar Gupta for the state whereas Adv Kirty Bhushan for the applicant observed that counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated by the prosecutrix, who was qualified and is grown up lady and she is serving in a private school. Images taken, when shared with the public through electronic media, make it difficult for the prosecutrix even to come out of her house. She has to face humiliation and disgrace in the society and has to carry the stigma throughout her life. She would never involve an innocent and allow the real culprit to go scot free. Her statement cannot be doubted at this stage. Court further observed that any statement of sexual assault is an extremely humiliating experience for a woman and until she is a victim of sex crime, she would not blame anyone but the real culprit. With these observations Court dismissed the bail application.(JNF) |
