| RTI activist allegedly denied information | | | Early Times Report
BHADERWAH, May 26: An RTI activist and social worker Naseer Mehboob Padder alleged that BDO ,Social Welfare ,PWD and PHE department Bhaderwah has denied the information in case of various developmental works and schemes . He alleged that "PHE ,PWD , Social welfare and RDD Department" Bhaderwah of violating RTI by refusing to disclose the information that was demanded as per the RTI regarding the detail of various works held instead of the fact that he had submitted applications one and half month ago . He said that for the last many years, these departments are allegedly are involved in rampant corruption and misuse of developmental funds in some schemes .
He told that "I have been fighting for the last many months with the corruption and with some department. To get the information of some important details with name, money , and address, I filed RTI and submitted to the office of these departments but did not get any reply.He demanded from CM of the state and Chief Information commissioner to personally look into the matter and punish the defaulters as per the law so that no department in near future dare to denied information under RTI Act |
