Jammu, May 26 : Inspector General of Police Armed/IR Jammu P.R.Manhas , inaugurated a Free Medical Camp organised by IRP 14thBn in the premises of APC Channi Himmat Jammu under Civic Action Programme.
Speaking on the occasion, IGP said that J&K Police, apart from providing congenial atmosphere to every individual of the society to live a peaceful and undisturbed life, is also committed to provide all indispensable assistance to needy patients by organizing such free medical camps in order to ward them off from disease and sickness. About 400 needy patients including male, female and children from the nearby localities of the area have been benefited by the medicalcamp.
During the camp, besides, free health check-up, free medicines were also distributed among the patients on the spot. Present on the occasion were V.S.Sambyal, DIG Armed South Range Jammu, K.L.Baghat , DIG Armed North Range Jammu, Amjad Parvaiz Mirza, Commandant JKAP 4th Bn. Security, D.P.Singh SSP Telecommunication ( ACS ) Jammu, Sham Sunder Sharma SSP APCR Jammu, Vijay Kumar, Commandant IRP 10th , Rashmi Wazir and Commandant IRP 4th Bn besides other senior Gazetted Officers . |
