| Create separate Labour Advisory Board for due utilization of Govt's schemes: VDLU | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 26: Vishwaskarma Dogra Labour Union (VDLU) today held a day long protest under the chairmanship of Kuldeep Raj Chalotra union president in which large number of protestors participated and highlighted the demands of labourers including to constitute separate Labour Advisory Board for the proper utilization of centrally sponsored schemes. While speaking Chalotra said that union is working for the upliftment of labour class for so many years but unfortunately state as well as center have failed to implement the scheme made for labour class on the grass root level. He urged the Govt should make a labour colony for labour class with in the municipal limit and make a historic decision in the favour of labour class before the election. Charanjeet Bitta and Dewan Singh Radha senior member of union unanimously demanded that Govt, should constitute a separate Labour Advisory Board for the proper utilization of Govt's schemes and warn if Govt fails to concede their demands seriously they will vote out Govt in the coming election. Other who spoke on the occasion included Kewal Krishan, Smt Hardeep Kour, Babu Ram, Madan Lal, Om Parkash, Parveen, Cheena Lal and Devi Ditta. |
