Jammu, May 28: J&K RTI Movement strongly condemned the suspension of DAK President Dr Nissar Ul Hassan.
As per press release, members said that Dr Nissar is a whistle blower and his suspension is an attack on freedom of speech. He is committed to its obligation of raising social issues apart from health related issues and his suspension will affect patient care and teaching in GMC, Srinagar very badly.
By this act of arrest and suspension, J&K RTI Movement is given to understand that social activists are not welcome in Kashmir, they added. He demanded immediate roll back of suspension order and urge the minister concerned to scrap the order immediately in the interests of patient care. |
