Early Times Report SRINAGAR, May 28: RSS spokeman Ram Madhav's remark was today rebutted by Omar, who in an interview to a national news channel said, the RSS was not his 'mai-baap' and 'no RSS-walla can stop me from speaking for my state.' He was quoted by as saying, "I have never said that it has been my parental estate but I am a citizen of Jammu and Kashmir and I have the right to speak about my rights. I don't owe allegiance to the RSS. They aren't my mai-baap. No RSS-walla can stop me from speaking for my state." On the debate over Article 370, he reiterated his stand that the controversial article cannot be touched. He said, "It is unfortunate that they had to rake up Article 370 at all. I can understand the BJP wanting this to be a controversy but that is election talk. The reality is that there is no way Article 370 can be touched without threatening the constitutional relationship of Jammu and Kashmir with India. This is a fact that the minister unfortunately isn't aware of."
