5/28/2014 11:32:28 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, May 28: Ex Corporator Thakur Jai Singh of ward no. 69 Sainik Colony has expressed his concern over the acute shortage of drinking supply in the ward which is causing huge hardship in the hot summer season. He said the pipes laid by PHE department to connect the residential houses for supply of water are not fulfilling the requirement with the increasing number of residential houses. He alleged that every year in the past, ten tanks of water per day in summer season were being supplied by the PHE to meet the daily needs of the affected families, but this year only three tanks of water per day are provided which is not sufficient to make the inescapable demand of the residents.
