JAMMU, May 28: Former Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) Prof Ashutosh Sharma, has tendered his resignation from the membership of Infrastructure and Development Committee (IDC), JKCA.
In a statement issued here today, Prof Sharma said that since Infrastructure and Development Committee, JKCA is an important committee wherein one has to put in hard work for the creation of new infrastructure but his old age doesn't allow him to exert too much.
Besides old age, Prof Sharma also cited paucity of time as a reason of putting in his papers from the responsibility.
He expressed his gratitude to Dr Farooq Abdullah, President JKCA and Arvinder Singh Micky, Chairman JKCA for nominating him as one of the members of Infrastructure and Development Committee. |
