Jammu, May 28: Seeking implementation of their adjustment under Prime Minister's Special Employment Package for Kashmiri Migrants announced long back in April 2008, All unemployed Kashmiri Migrants youths under the aegis of Youth All lndia Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) staged a protest rally from Muthi to Press Club of Jammu here today to draw state government's attention towards their plight. Led by YAIKS President and Member Apex Advisory Committee R K Bhat the protestors marched from YAIKS head quarter Muthi to Press Club, Jammu with a request to Chief Minister for his personal intervention to resolve their genuine demands. While highlighting the demands, the protestors appealed to Chief Minister for immediate filling up of the remaining 4548 posts out of PMs sanctioned 6000 jobs for Kashmiri Migrants including the selection of those 221 candidates who have also approached to the court of law and got their posts reserved with the directions for their early adjustments, this demand was already approved by the State cabinet vide Cabinet Decision No. 143/19/2011 Dated 19.08.2011 and Govt. order no. Rev/MR/170 of 2011 dated 25.08.2011 and is still pending. Pt Bhat in his address said that YAIKS which is spearheading the employment issue of the community will not take the rest till full 6000 jobs would be implemented with letter and spirit. He further warned the Govt that in case this demand is not being met within 10 days they will proceed to Srinagar to protest for this long pending demand of migrant youth.Manoj Handoo, Sunil Koul, D N Bhat, Sanjay Ji, Sandeep Bhat, Ajay Raina, Princy Ji, Sunil Bhat, Deepak Koul also addressed the protestors outside the Press Club Jammu. |
