| 12 yr old raped, accused arrested in Rajouri | | | Jammu, June 2: A 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped while the accused was arrested in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
'A complaint was lodged yesterday by the family members of the victim that their 12-year-old girl was raped by one Sanjay Kumar, 25, of Nowshera in Rajouri district,' police official here said. He said acting swiftly, raids were conducted and the accused was arrested within 6-hours of the crime.
'As the condition of the girl was not stable, she was referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu,' he said.
A case has been registered and investigations started. |
