JAMMU, June 2: Police today seized Nagchattri in Doda and arrested four persons who were in possession of the precious medicinal herb.
On a specific information, Police Party of Police Station Doda during a Patrolling/Naka checking at Hanail (Bharat) near Iron bridge recovered 90 Kg Nagchattri from the possession of Khadim Hussain son of Mohd. Sian Gujjar, Daljeet Singh son of Gopi Ram Thakur, Abdul Rashid son of Gh. Mohd., all residents of Swara Tehsil Gandoh and Parvaiz Ahmed son of Shah Din Niak of Chilli Tehsil Gandoh.
In this regard a case FIR No. 99/2014 u/s 379 RPC, 6 Forest Act stands registered at Police Station Doda and further investigation of the case is set into motion. |
