Uttari-Barwal people protest against water scarcity 6/3/2014 12:09:08 AM Early Times Report KATHUA, June 2: The residents of Panchayat Uttari- Barwal protested the negligence of PHE department here today. During the protest, senior Congress leader Naresh Sharma and National Conference's District president Dhian Chand alleged the Department for not addressing the water crisis prevailing in Uttari and Barwal Panchayats and left the innocent people to face the hardships.Sharma categorically quoted the state government for adopting apathetic and insensitive approach towards the water crisis in the entire district Kathua due to which not only human population but also animals, birds are becoming victims.
