Jammu, June 2: Jammu and Kashmir National Trade Union Front (JKNTUF), a major constituent of employees Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) has decided to hold a massive rally on June 24 in support of their long pending demands including regularization. Addressing Press Conference State President JKNTUF Mohammad Gafoor Dar said that more than 40,000 casual labours, need base workers and CP workers who have been engaged in PHE, Wild life, Forest, Floriculture, Agriculture, PWD and Soil Conservation needs immediate regularization policy and for this purpose JKNTUF will hold a massive rally of casual labours of above on June 24. He urged the state government to fulfill the demands as per agreement. He highlighted demands including regarding enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years, regularization policy for the causal labours, need base workers and CP workers engaged after 1994, Regularization of left over daily wagers under SRO 64 and left over adhocees / contractual / consolidated employees and removal of pay anomalies of various categories of employees. Among others who present in the press conference included Nair Ahmed Molvi, Rajinder Kumar, Molvi Muneer Ahmed, and Sat Pal. |
