Early Times Report Jammu, June 13: An earthquake of 4.6 magnitude today rocked the mountainous belts of Jammu region. "A mild intensity earthquake hit the mountainous belts and jolts were felt in Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban and Udhampur districts, an official here said. He said that the earthquake was of 4.6 magnitude on the Richter scale occurred this evening at 7 am latitude 33.3 North and Longitude 75.8 East with depth 18-kms. However, panic gripped these belts and people rushed out of their houses. "No report of any damage or loss of life has been reported so far from across the region," said official. |
