Kishtwar, June 13: In a tragic incident, 30 year old lady namely Leela Devi, wife of Krishan Lal, resident of Phalgwari Sigdi in Chatroo Tehsil of the District after she fell from a cliff while grazing cattles. As per the details, the incident took place when the deceased woman tried to prevent a calf from falling from the cliff, but lost her footing on the rock as a result of which she along with her minor daughter and a calf rolled down and landed in a deep gorge as a result of which both calf and woman died on spot while her minor daughter received grave injuries. As soon as the incident took place, the villagers and family members of the woman rush to the spot and retrieved her body from the gorge and shifted the injured girl to nearby hospital where doctors are monitoring her situation. Police team from police station Chatroo also rush to the spot and started its investigation after registration of an FIR. |
