| Kishtwar NC unit pledges for jobs, loan schemes for youth | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, June 13: A day after Zargar Youth Welfare Association Kishtwar, an amalgam of goldsmiths with over 3000 registered voters in Kishtwar constituency announced parting of ways with ruling National Conference, party reached out to the community promising its youth share in jobs and other modes of employment. On behalf of the party, Youth President Imtiyaz Ahmed Zargar assured the community that rights and share of the community in every sector will be protected at every cost. While reacting to "Early Times" news report published in today's edition, NC Youth President Kishtwar Imtiyaz Ahmed Zargar termed the anger of the community; particularly the youths as genuine and added that many youths in Kishtwar District are jobless including the youths hailing from his community. He said that Omar Abdullah led coalition government is committed to provide jobs to the unemployed youths. He said that government is moving fast towards execution of power projects in Kishtwar district so that more and more jobs are created. He said that recruitment process in 850 MW Rattle Power Project in Drabshala is in advance stage and added that party is fighting tooth and nail with the management of the project for accommodation of more and more youths from Kishtwar District. He said that party is hopeful to win back the support of angry youths of the community and termed it a family and internal issue of the party. It is pertinent to mention that in an extraordinary meeting of the executive body of Zargar Youth Welfare Association Kishtwar under the chairmanship of Aashiq Hussain Zargar, they slammed policies and programmes of the present NC leadership in Kishtwar and blamed that the leadership has remained totally 'relationship centred' as result of which nepotism glorified in full swing in every field, particularly in the matter of appointment of their kith and kins in the government or semi-government jobs. |
