JAMMU, June 13 : State High Court will remain closed for Summer Vacation of 2014 from June 16 to June 27, 2014.
In terms of the Rule 12 of J&K High Court Rules 1999, Chief Justice nominated Judges to be vacations judges for both wings of the High Court to hear matters which may be required to be immediately or promptly dealt with for the respective periods.
According to the notification No 324 of June 13, 2014 issued by Registrar General that Justice Janak Raj Kotwal will be the Vacation Judge of Jammu Wing from June 23, 2014 to June 27, 2014 and Justice Bansi Lal Bhat will be the vacation Judge of Srinagar Wing from June 23, 2014 to June 27, 2014.
In an another order issued by CJM Jammu SC Katal nominated four Judicial Magistrate to function as Duty Magistrates during the Summer Vacation dealing with emergent criminal cases of Jammu District. Susheel Singh Munsiff Jammu will hold the Court from June 16, 2014 to June 19, 2014, SS Bali Sub-Judge Jammu will hold the Court from June 20, 2014 to June 23, 2014, CJM will also function as Duty Magistrate from June 24, 2014 to June 26, 2014 and Khem Raj Sub-Registrar Jammu will hold the Court from June 27,2014 to June 30, 2014.
