Kishtwar, June 18:- As many as 89 Kashmir Police Service (KPS) officers of 2012 batch despite completing probation are still awaiting orders for adjustment as the PHQ fails to constitute the Board of members on time.
As per reports , 89 KPS Officers of 2012 batch completed their probation in the month of April this year and the board of members for assessing their performance was constituted today by the new Director General of Police who took charge only few weeks ago.
As per the Police Headquarter Order no. 1622 of 2014 dated 18-06-2014 issued by AIG (Pers), for Director General of Police J&K, Srinagar the copy of which is available with "Early Times", eight member team head by S.M Sahai ADGP Armed J&K while Jagjit Kumar DIG Traffic Kashmir (Now promoted as IGP), Syed Ahfadul Mujtaba DIG CKR Srinagar, Vijay Singh Sambyal DIG IR-Jammu, Tejinder Singh SP Pulwama, Rajesh Kumar Sharma SP CO IR-9th Bn, Zubair Ahmed Khan SP CO IR-6th BN and Fayaz Ahmed Lone SP CO JKAP 11th Bn as its members.

It is pertinent to mention that government in recent past promoted several IGP's, DIG's, SSP's and SP's and many of them are still awaiting for adjustment since long as due to infighting within the National Conference and Congress coalition government, the government fails to make adjustment of these promoted police officers that has virtually pushed these promoted officials to wall of their no fault.
